What are we doing?
The department Infotainment, within Connected Experience product stream, is responsible for the development and enabling of Volvo Cars Infotainment system. As first Car company Volvo Cars teamed up with Google and develop a system together, which re-thinks the nature of car infotainment, defined by a user-friendly interface and an unparalleled connectivity. A true success! We work with the latest technologies to reach the future characteristics and requirements in a very exciting field. To ensure adaptability and flexibility we work in an agile environment, and we put quality on top of our priorities.

What’s in it for you?
You will join an organization working in the forefront of infotainment, with a solution based on Android running in our cars, a pioneering product developed in close collaboration with Google. As a Scrum Master (ScM) you will be coaching the teams towards increasing team maturity, empowerment, and value-flow. The ScM work in close collaboration, as a trinity, with the product owner and team manager. The trinity team will help each other and define work package as a team to flexibly utilize the capacity and knowledge of the trinity team. The current state of the teams is that they have been working agile for about 2 years and we are looking for a Scrum Master that can not only continue to coach and support but also elevate the teams.

The vision and expectations for this position is to be role model of how cross functional teams work agile, even with constraints within a global organization.

You and your skills
You have a passion of coaching & building teams and as a servant leader you support the team with their needs keeping the ownership in the team.

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master who have previously coached software engineering or system teams to become high performing. You have a degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience of cross-functional collaboration, large-scale system design and hands-on software development.

Familiarity with SAFe and previous work as Jira administrator is beneficial for the position.
