Who we are
Volvo Cars is the first brand to launch vehicles with an Infotainment system based on Android Automotive. We do this in close collaboration with Google and other major technology providers. To achieve this, we on Volvo Cars have transformed and become a truly software driven company. We value creativity, diversity, and inclusion.

On Infotainment, our engaged and agile development teams work with the Android platform, Android Automotive Apps, Audio, Connectivity, Driver Information, Entertainment, Personalization and Vehicle Functions (e.g. climate control). We apply the latest software development practices, and the development teams are supported with Continuous Integration (CI) frameworks and collaboration tools.

What you will do
As the scrum master of our CI teams, you will be coaching the teams towards increased team maturity and empowerment.

Volvo Cars is using Scaled Agile Framwork (SAFe) and you will help your teams to understand their impact on the value flow from the Agile Release Train (ART) Infotainment. As a scrum master you are important to our agile journey. Together with the Release Train Engineer (RTE), you will be collaborating with other scrum masters across the organization to remove impediments for the teams and the organization focused on a continuous delivery of value.

Together with the Team Manager and Product Owner, you cater for the needs of the teams and
Your teams are working with the continuous integration infrastructure, which is enabling modern software development. Programming, configuration CI-pipelines and managing a lab with test rigs are part of the teams operations.

Who you are
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master who have previously coached software engineering or system teams to become high performing. You are a servant leader that coach the teams using agile team practices with a focus on flow and continuous improvement.

You have a degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Meritorious is experience of cross-functional collaboration, large-scale system design and hands-on software development. Familiarity with SAFe and previous work as Jira administrator is beneficial for the position.
