About us
We like to welcome a new member to us at eART Electric Propulsion Base SW (eARTEPBSW) at Volvo Cars. We are part of Electric Propulsion SW Platform and Electric Drive Controls and are responsible for delivering Base SW for Traction Battery, Inverters and Charging control in our electric vehicles. Our vision is to deliver the best BSW in the market and continuously evolve our development platform. We like to have You with us so we can do this journey together.
The role as Scrum Master is for two teams. One BSW developer team and one BSW test & Automation team. The teams have high focus on collaboration and communication within the group and it is good cohesion between the group members.

About you
As Scrum Master in Electric Propulsion Base SW, you will be coaching and supporting the team using agile team practices with focus on flow and continuous improvements. You will also support in development of techniques for work breakdown, estimating, planning and follow-up. You will assist the execution, feature/capability completion tracking and report status. Your goal is to see to that the team operate and deliver as an effective “team on the train”.

You will work closely with the team, Product Owner and with the Team Manager. You will be supporting the Product Owner in the efforts to manage the backlog with respect to priorities and scope. You will facilitate all team meetings like the daily stand-up, iteration planning, demo, and retrospective.

You have a University degree within SW engineering background and have experience with knowledge of SW Integration, Testing and Release towards vehicle programs. Have programming and scripting experience with C, Python and Autosar. 

What you will do
In eARTEPBSW, this position will be placed in a Scrum Team called Battery BSW Team and Test & Automation Team. Today our ART is only two-month-old. It means that we will grow and the ART setup with the teams will change. It means that you will need to be prepared that the teams you start with as ScM might change within the first year.
The Test & Automation Team is focused on develop the test environment including HIL HW and automated test scripts. The team is also performing tests.
The Battery BSW is setting up a BSW for a specific target under the Autosar standard.
