This is what your new colleagues do
At Core System Platform we are building a computer-in-the-car architecture, a key for enabling innovation within areas such as Advanced Connectivity, Machine Learning, and Autonomous Drive. Our mission is to create a Vehicle Control Unit platform using new technologies like DriveOS and NVIDIA’s latest chip technology in combination with more traditional car signalling technologies. We are dedicated to delivering platform functions simplifying the application development to create a safe, reliable, and secure platform solution within Volvo Cars for increased innovation and speed.
Within Core System Platform, three High Integrity teams are jointly responsible for the creation and deployment of a platform for high-ASIL components and safety-critical processes.
What you will do
As technically oriented Scrum Master within Core System Platform, your responsibility will be to secure the value flow of several teams and optimize their output efficiency. By living the Volvo Cars Agile Framework, you will facilitate Scrum events, such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint demos, sprint plannings, reviews and retrospectives, PI events and other team workshops or activities. As a vital leader you will coach the team on agile tools and practices, enhance collaboration, and help the teams’ open mind blossom. You will assess the maturity of the teams and actively participate in Scrum of Scrums and Scrum CoP. As Scrum Master, you help to mitigate risks as well as removing, escalating, and tracking impediments while you keep an eye on process definition and documentation. As part of the agile troika you will be one of the central contacts of the High Integrity area to ensure a world-leading, safe, and sustainable software platform.

-You are a holder of a university degree within Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or similar
-You are fluent in spoken and written English

-You have industry experience in embedded software development and process definition
-You worked as a Scrum Master before
-You are result-oriented with a “think-outside-of-the-box-attitude”
-You have a keen perception with a good portion of quality understanding
-Your energizing attitude sparks also your teams and your troika
