Let’s make a difference in finance for the many people

You will be joining the Digital Delivery organization that has a setup of five ARTs with a governance steering of a solution train. The solution train is responsible for the delivery and product development of the Ikano Pay products among others. This is where it all happens! We develop and maintain the backend and frontend systems for loans, mortgages, and credits for private individuals.

We are around 40+ agile teams working closely with our business across the Nordics, UK, Germany, and upcoming markets to deliver new features from the same roadmap.

Each ART is unique in its shape, where some have more of a business scope and others are more of technical nature.

The last couple of years our solution train has been through a great change moving towards an agile mindset and ways of working. We still have an exciting journey ahead of us in which we need your help as Scrum Master.

What will you do?

• As a Scrum Master you will be the team coach for a DEVSECOPS scrum team consisting of e.g., developers, testers, tech Leads and Product Owners. In your role you take the responsibility for helping the team through our agile processes with everything from facilitating scrum ceremonies, refining the backlog to continuously improving the team with recurring retrospectives
• You are a true leader and serve as a facilitator, coach, manager, mentor, teacher, impediment remover, and change agent by helping to create an environment of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement
• You coach and guide the team to be able to deliver value with high quality to the customer in an iterative way
• You build up and maintain trust among the team, psychological safety, openness, honest and transparent communication by ensuring that the team gets the support they need to be able to deliver value to our customers
• You ensure that the team has room to react to unexpected items and make potential risks visible due to the team’s capacity. You will help the team to remove impediments and safeguard the team from external distractions
• You are part of a diverse cross-functional team where team members might be located onshore, nearshore and/or offshore
• In addition, you help the team and the organization to adopt an agile mindset by practicing and fostering a continuous improvement culture
• Be an active part of the SM-COP "Community of Practice” and in this role contribute to the further development of COP into an Agile organization
• At your help is the Delivery organisation as well as the whole community of Scrum Masters within our solution train. You will be one of the key players driving change on a direct operational level in your teams
• Overall, you are the leader who facilitates the team's success by empowering them and enabling them to work together effectively and efficiently

Key competencies

• Experience and knowledge of SAFe framework and agile methods is a must
• Skills to create a safe environment for meaningful collaboration and healthy conflict resolution
• Being open and appreciating openness in others
• Experience from the banking / financial industry is a plus
• SAFe Scrum Master certification is a plus
• Practical experience in supporting agile, self-organized teams as a Scrum Master
