About us
At Engineering & Operations (E&O) you will be a key contributor to the next generation of outstanding luxury BEV vehicles from Volvo Cars. Together with other engineers around the world, you and your team will create innovative human-centric car technology that makes life less complicated and more enjoyable for people.
Our group 97370, Inverter CPL & Mech and PCBA, consists of 2 teams and about 20 engineers; we are now looking for a Scrum Master for the Inverter CPL team.
Our vision is “Leading in electrification” by contributing to world class efficiency in future products.

The Inverter CPL team is part of the department Power Electronics. The team has the following scope:
* Requirement engineering to deliver design prerequisites, technical regulations, contractual elements, and compliance agreements towards Tier1 suppliers.
* Collaborate with and drive suppliers for developing & delivering HW to meet project milestones
* Define test plans together with suppliers to secure expected quality and support input to necessary testing up to vehicle level, to ensure components durability and performance during the vehicle’s lifetime.
* Drive the supplier nomination process, based on technique, timing and cost, where the most suitable suppliers get nominated.
* Cost engineering, benchmarking, and reporting status/progress together with quality assurance disciplines such as FMEA, Robust engineering, ISO 26262


As a Scrum Master (ScM) you will continuously work with coaching the Scrum team, refining the team’s processes, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and removing impediments. You will also take ownership of the team deliveries; supporting where it is needed. You will have a close collaboration with the Product Owner, Release Train Engineer, Team manager and other people with interface to the team. You are part of a Scrum Master Community to share experience, ideas and contribute to drive change throughout the whole department.

About you
We believe you have previous experience in working methods, program execution and product development knowledge and an education in Electrical/Mechanical engineering or Mechatronics. You have a high ability and a strong will to continuously learn and develop your skillset in Inverter technology/development. To excel in this role, you need to have great multitasking skills and feel comfortable prioritising. You are an open-minded individual, who has a high ability to communicate with different stakeholders and to make decisions. You present integrity and courage in your team, and with your inclusiveness you are a strong team player who takes the lead and coaches the team to accelerate the performance. You have a great level of energy with the ability to motivate and encourage other team members and people you collaborate with. It is a merit to have previous experience of and training in Scrum/Agile/Scaled Agile work practices.
