What’s in it for you?
We are looking for a Scrum Master for OSQ & Solidity team within the Personal driving Experience Centre at Volvo Cars Headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The team Operational Sound Quality (OSQ) & Solidity (also known as Buzz Squeak and Rattle) is a part of the Personal Driving Experience Centre within Research & Development at Volvo Car Corporation. The centre supports the strategic direction of “Freedom to move in a Personal, Sustainable & Safe way”. We are organised in attributes such as vehicle dynamics, brake attributes, performance & drivability, road noise, wind noise, solidity, operational sound quality, audio & ANC performance, interactive sound design and trimmed body acoustics & dynamics. In close collaboration with design and the development teams we take responsibility for a personal experience for our end users. The team OSQ & Solidity is responsible for the sound quality from all sensors, actuators, small fans etc, and for the squeaks, rattle and solid feeling analysis. The group is divided in to three scrum teams, and we are now looking for a motivated, result-oriented, and flow enabling Scrum Master, to help us move forward on our agile journey.

What you’ll do
You will act as a servant leader for the teams by driving and organizing the team events and support the team in delivering value to customers. You will be coaching the team and people in all aspects of agile ways of working and mind-sets, manage and optimize the flow of value, encouraging improved quality and speed of delivery, support the Product Owner in their efforts to manage the backlog with respect to priorities and scope., work together in the troika to remove impediments and set ways of working to enable continuous improvements and facilitate preparation and readiness for PI ceremonies and work together with the RTE and fellow Scrum Masters to improve the collaboration within the Team of Teams.

You are used to working with multiple stakeholders and have the capability to facilitate workshops and perform team activities such as team development and story mapping exercises. With us, you will need to communicate in English, both written and oral, and have a drivers B-licence.

On a personal level, you have a coaching approach and the ability to motivate others. You see possibilities in challenges and work towards solutions in a structured manner. Furthermore, you are an efficient networker with the ability to illustrate information to others and to create a common understanding and direction for the team. You are comfortable collaborating and communicating with people on different levels in an organization as well as with different backgrounds. You are energetic, forward-thinking and you push for innovation.
