Consumer Services at Volvo Group Connected Solutions is responsible for the end user services, from idea to development and operation. Together with our partners and customers we create value through fantastic user experience and business enhancing services and products.
We are now looking for a Scrum Master/ Release Train Engineer within Digital Channels. You will work in multiple varied exciting deliveries ranging from awesome customer experience platform, developer portal, marketplace and customer support portal. You will facilitate program level processes and execution, escalate impediments, manage risk and help drive program level continuous improvement.
The role
As a Scrum Master/ Release Train Engineer you will be a servant leader and coach the Agile Release Train (ART).
Your key responsibilities are to facilitate the ART events, processes and assist the teams in delivering value. You introduce, educate & mentor the team on agile best practices and ways of working at each level, which includes influencing the stakeholders towards agility, get the support, while stabilizing the teams and structuring the backlog.
Responsible for planning and facilitating PI Planning readiness via fostering the preparation of the vision and risk management of backlogs.
Ensure that Product Management, Products Owners, and other value stream stakeholders are informed of ART activities to ensure strategic execution alignment.
Attend systems and solutions demos to ensure program increment while driving continuous improvement.
Aggregate and publish team objectives to ensure execution of ART plan.
Manage and optimize the flow of activities through sprint and program increments using various ART and agile tools.
Collaboration with other Product Management teams, Business Areas, IT teams, coordination with other RTEs, and other teams.
Facilitate all tools incl. securing the Jira and Confluence consistency and supporting the team in those matters.
Lead different initiatives for continuous improvements way of working.
Ensuring to align the different metrics and removing blockers.
Your profile
Requires BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with IT focus degree.
Requires minimum of 5 years experience in implementing Agile methodologies; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Strong software development, digital channels background is a plus.
Skilled educator and coach.
Prior Scrum Master/RTE experience preferred.
Experience Project Manager degree.
Jira, Confluence and DevOps knowledge.
An excellent communicator and motivator.
