What we offer
The team InfoCore has the mission to collect, refine and provide the data that our clients in the Volvo ecosystem need to improve their business continuously, in addition to the data they need to run their business day-to-day.
InfoCore consists of 3 squads/sub teams with one Product Owner and is responsible for development of the new information platform Sunrise, customer assignments and maintenance of the current GI platform.
We are now looking for a Scrum Master who, with a servant leadership, can support, develop and coach the entire InfoCore team, but who also can act as a companywide change agent in collaboration with other Scrum Masters within the company Scrum Master Guild.
Scope
As Scrum Master you will be part of 3 squads/sub-teams within InfoCore.
You will work in close cooperation with the Product Owner and the Focus Leader/Line Manager.
Your key tasks
As Scrum Master you will ultimately be responsible for coaching, mentoring, educating and inspiring the teams and individuals to continuously improve the way of working and to foster an agile and hypothesis driven mindset.
You are to be regarded as an Agile Coach and change agent who is expected to be active within the following areas:
Team ceremonies
With a high belief in the agile principles and execution of its ceremonies (planning, standups, reviews, retros, refinement), a structured and curious Scrum Master can create the needed prerequisites for continuous and fast delivery of value, transparency and relentless improvements
Team
A Scrum Master needs to be engaged and have a coaching approach to continuously develop a strong, long-lived, happy and autonomous team that focuses on customer value by challenging current processes and patterns, enthuse and trigger the intrinsic motivation of the team members.
You and your skills
We believe that you have a solid practical experience of agile working methods, facilitation and improvement work and that you have practical experience or knowledge of most of the following areas, frameworks and techniques:
Agile, Lean, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Less, Scrum at Scale, Liberating Structures.
We would like you to have a few years of experience in the Scrum master role or some similar team coaching role.
On a personal level
The Scrum master role requires great commitment, courage and high integrity.
You need to have a deep understanding of the agile principles and be passionate about helping the organization and its teams to continuously improve their way of working through mentoring and coaching.
This role requires a great interest in people, group dynamics, working methods, coaching, mentorship and continuous improvement work.
In the role as Scrum Master you need to be curious, committed, structured, focused, analytical, cooperative, solution-oriented and see things from a holistic perspective.
Furthermore, you are a proactive, good communicator who actively listens to your surroundings to understand different perspectives and create consensus.
