About the role
As part of an Agile/Scrum team, the Scrum Master performs the critical role of Servant-Leader to the team. The Scrum Master uses their skills of collaboration, facilitation, leadership, and coaching to support the development of software applications, removing impediments while promoting the team’s self-management and continuous improvement.
As a Quality Assurance Specialist you need to ensure that the testing of agreed software is done timely, according to the best practices and in the highest quality possible or necessary. Follow automated and manual test processes. Verify that created product meets given requirements, in purpose to deliver high-quality product for business to fulfil business needs and values. Collaborate with other QA specialists about best practices and approaches in Software testing.
About the team
You will be part of the agile BI Reporting team within the Business Area “Industrial”. The team consists of eight experienced and enthusiastic developers and architects. The team is responsible for data lake, data warehouse, analytics and business intelligence solutions. The main responsibility of the team is to primarily develop, but also maintain, data and analytics solutions, and the platforms are a cornerstone in the data strategy within BA Industrial.
Who are you?
You are a person that has practical work experience in software development field, strong analytical and problem solving skills, who is capable to work in tense situations. Being in the Scrum Master/QA role you must have an eye for details, able to multi-task and prioritize. We are looking for a person with excellent communication and analytics skills, pro -activity and initiative.
You also have
At least 5 years of experience as Scum Master/QA Specialist
Relevant academic/university degree.
Strong knowledge about Agile and QA methodologies
Programming competence (e.g. SQL) and experience in creating, preparing and working with data environments.
Experience with other Azure services are considered as advantage;
Ability to work independently and organize one's own work
Knowledge about DevOps are considered as advantage;
Self-organized and self-motivated and proactive personality;
Teamwork and solution-oriented mindset
Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
Fluency in Swedish and English.
