Working as a Risk Analyst in Life Division at SEB Stockholm you will work in a unique role at SEB where you will gain a good understanding of the business in the division SEB life and pension as well as risk and business strategy. You will build an understanding of how an international life and pensions group operates. In your role you will work with identifying, monitoring and analysing a wide range of risks.Simultaneously with working in the role being recruited to, you will participate in SEB´s International Trainee Programme, which gives you the opportunity to develop an extensive network within the bank, gain a deep understanding of the international financial industry and be professionally and personally challenged.

Your Trainee Position and Your Team

In the role of Risk Analyst, you will work closely with the three different teams within the Life and Pension´s risk organisation. The teams are based in Sweden, Ireland, and the Baltics. There you will work at divisional level in a key role where you will keep a helicopter view across all three teams. You will work closely together on various issues that the teams encounter. In your role you will work with identifying, monitoring and analysing a wide range of risks, such as different types of market risks from the investment portfolios, strategic risks and also non-financial risks. You will have the opportunity to work with senior colleagues who will support you in your daily work. The work is varied where days and tasks can look very different.

Your Required Skills

We are looking for you with passion for business and a changing environment. We like you to challenge us, now and for the future. We are looking for you who:

• Have an academic degree in, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent
• Have graduated before programme start or within the last three years
• It is meritorious if you have some work experience
• It is meritorious if you have some experience in SQL
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Swedish

The role requires you to have a good understanding of how to communicate complex issues in a simple and understandable way. You are a person who enjoys networking, as this role will require that you build a large network of contacts within the bank as well as navigating your way around the organisation. We expect you to be able to work flexibly as you will be handling many tasks simultaneously. The days will vary so we see it as important that you enjoy working to tight deadlines. You should also have an interest in calculations and analysis to thrive in this role.
