Section Manager - CSIM/FSUE System and Verification (698810)

About this opportunity
Digital Testing Services is responsible for providing simulation products used in Radio Access Network (RAN) products verification. The simulation products are also used as product components in the Digital Pipeline and Radio Access Network Pipeline services. We are working together in teams spread internationally on different continents.
We seek to create an organization driving the systemization and verification aspects of the CSIM-FsUE simulator, supporting the Digital Testing Targets towards 2025+, where developers can digitally verify customer value as part of the end-to-end value flow. The section consists of Kanban Masters, Technical Coordinators, system engineers with end-to-end competence in CSIM/FSUE and skilled devops/troubleshooters working close with RAN system verification.
You will report to the department manager also located in Linköping and belong to the Leadership Team with colleagues in Sweden and Poland.

What you will do
Lead system engineers and technical leaders, handling all responsibilities for the section and recruit new top talents within Software Development
Mentor and develop technical leaders to reach their full potential, in high performing CA/system teams
Enable good collaboration between CSIM/FSUE teams, Ericsson as well as partners, across the globe
Interact with Project Managers and secure good quality studies are being produced
Be responsible for the development of the CSIM/FSUE test framework
Participate in and drive quality-related work across the simulator


You will bring
Solid experience as an R&D leader of sophisticated units and/or programs and excellent knowledge of the full development flow
Daring leadership, providing clear direction and setting appropriate standards of behavior through steadfast integrity
A spirit of positiveness and creativeness with a can-do-attitude and the social skills to collaborate in a diverse team of colleagues
Deep insight and expertise in quality assurance in terms of both theory/methods and Ericsson practices
Excellent skills in spoken and written English
Minimum 5 years R&D experience
