Our Exciting Opportunity

We are recruiting a line manager for a section in ASIC and IP Design Department in Product Development Unit Compute and Digital Silicon in Kista, Sweden.
As a section leader for an IP Design team, it is expected to guide, mentor, empower and develop individuals as well as to foster an innovative and learning culture. You are also responsible for defining and executing team strategies based on the overall goals and strategies of the Department, Sector and Product Development Unit.

You will
Strategically evolve the ASIC development operations locally and globally
Foster a motivating, customer oriented and challenging work environment
Contribute to drive internal efficiency, cost effectiveness via new- or existing ways of working
Actively and proactively support ongoing projects and participate in reference/governance group meetings
Support IP development programs to help coordinate the local multi-functional teams, and provide additional support to ensure programs are executing to schedule, scope, and meeting their project expectations.
Be part of the digital ASIC/FPGA leadership team to ensure good cross-sector cooperation and growth in the digital ASIC/FPGA domain
Manage Agile and Lean WoW implementation


To be successful in the role you have
Technical education at a university level (M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Physics) or similar
Outstanding Relationship Building and Leadership Skills
Good analytical, structural, result oriented skills, and look for creative solutions when lacking information, being comfortable with acting outside formal area of responsibility when needed.
Genuine interest in digital ASIC/FPGA technology
Ability to find and drive continuous improvements at work
Superb communication skills as well as teambuilding, mentoring and cooperation skills
Proficient in oral and written English and have excellent presentation skills
Knowledge and experience of R&D processes, including lean & agile practices
If applicable, several years of experience within R&D organizations and/or Product Management Business
