Cytiva is seeking a dynamic and experienced Section Manager to lead the Product Owner & UX Design team within our Downstream R&D department in Uppsala consisting of 9 System and UX Design Engineers. The Section Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of user-centric solutions for our software portfolio of life science and biotechnology products. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced, innovative organization and make a significant impact on the advancement of drug development technologies.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of talented UX Designers and Product Owners.
Set clear goals, provide direction, and support the professional growth of team members.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UX central team, product management, engineering, and marketing, to ensure seamless integration of design solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in software solutions and system design to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, internal and external, to gather user feedback and ensure alignment with customer needs.
Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality design deliverables.

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Engineering Physics, Biotechnology or a related field.
Proven experience leading teams within hardware and/or software development, preferably in the life science or biotechnology industry.
Experience working with user-centered software development, UX design or software verification is an advantage.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
