Section manager of Configuration and Environmental Management

Your role

We are looking for you who, in close cooperation with your competent associates, wants to further develop our methods and way of working with respect of configuration management and product related environmental compliance.

The team in its planned format will be newly established from Jan 1 2024 and include Configuration Managers and Project Environmental Coordinators from both our main locations, Karlskoga and Linköping. You will in the role of manager lead and develop our Configuration and Environmental Management section, both the people and the ways-of-working.

You will be a member of the Business Support management team in BU Missiles Systems. You and your employees will drive the work to secure that the products we deliver and maintain will be correctly structured, configuration managed and compliant with the environmental legislations.

The role includes, but is not limited to:

* Develop and care for your employees
* Close interaction with other managers and project managers
* Actively work with the competence build to meet short and long-term needs
* Responsibility for line budget

You will have the opportunity to develop these areas to stand strong regarding near-future needs. To take an active role in creating and implementing the roadmap of ways-of-working will be important for our success.

Your profile

We are looking for a person who is interested in the area of Configuration Management. Key success factors will be to lead and motivate the team with focus on delivery on time, transparency and good communication throughout the whole organization. Your leadership skills in combination with a structured way of working will make you successful in this role. You will have to collaborate with many and develope a large network of contacts within the organization. We also believe that you have an analytical side in order to best understand the organization needs and to make well-founded decisions.

Required skills:

* Background within Configuration Management
* Communication skills
* Relevant academic degree

Desired skills:

* Experience in leading people
* Experience in the field of defense

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
