Saab in Luleå is in an expanding phase, we are now five sections and are now looking for a manager to our section Program and product support. The section consists of resources necessary to achieve effective software development, for example Project managers, Test and verification and Technical writers. Being a Section Manager with us is a fun and developing assignment. In the role, you will be involved and driving strategic work regarding competence supply and technology development.



Your role

The role means that you are responsible for around 20 employees. You are expected to have a coaching leadership. You will work with both operational and strategic issues in close collaboration with the rest of the management team in Luleå as well as other Saab sites.



The role includes ensuring that the business reaches its set goals. As Section Manager, you are responsible to run an efficient business with a high delivery capability in software development. You are also responsible that the business uses prescribed processes, methods and tools so that our development assignments can be carried out according to commitments. This applies to our customers' requirements as well as authority requirements and standards. As Section Manager, you are part of the office's management team where you are involved in driving and developing our entire capability and delivery.



Your profile

You probably have a university education and have the ability and interest to lead, organize and develop our business. As a person, you are committed to your leadership with a desire to see, inspire and motivate your employees. You have experience in leadership and have previously been a manager, team leader, project manager or similar. As a person, you have an interest in technical solutions and are used to deal with technical decisions. You are result oriented, something that reflects your way of planning, prioritizing and acting.



This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
