What You'll Do
Lead the Protein & Viral Production section in the Start-to-Finish department in BioProcess R&D
Manage personnel, resources and activities within the section to fulfil project, section, department and R&D goals and priorities
Supply R, D, S and idea evaluation projects with resources according to the needs in term of time and competences, and secure that deliveries from the section are executed in an efficient and timely manner and with appropriate quality and according to agreed standards.
To secure that the competence and know-how of the section members is appropriate to support the organization in the fields the section is responsible for, and that competences are continuously developed via education, seminars, coaching, mentoring and individual developmental plans
To drive the development of the section to improve productivity, establish processes and a strategy to secure long term technology development within the section’s responsibility areas: Upstream process development and process intensification for Mabs and viral vectors, phage display for affinity ligand generation and cell line development
Ensure a safe working environment for the team

Who you are
strong people leader and experienced in bioprocess upstream process development
In order to succeed in this position, you need to be result-oriented, flexible and creative with a strong collaborative attitude, focusing on customer needs.
PhD in biology, medicine, engineering or related Life Science field or equal experience in related fields or equivalent knowledge or experience
5 years of experience of industrial development/R&D in the bioprocess area
Management experience such as project or line management
We are looking for someone with good managerial skills and good ability to motivate, direct and develop people
Swedish and English as working languages
