Octapharma located in central Stockholm at Kungsholmen, is now searching for a dedicated Section Sterility Assurance Manager with a passion for ensuring the highest standards in aseptic manufacturing. The section is a part of the QiO (Quality in Operations) department.

The role

As one of three section managers at QiO, you will be responsible for the development of operations in the section Sterility Assurance. You will oversee a team of skilled specialists in, providing daily support and guidance to achieve set objectives. In this role, you will have colleagues both within the group and in other section units with whom you can share both successes and challenges. You will report to the Department Head of Quality in Operation.

The section Sterility Assurance is responsible for ensuring the quality of Octapharma´s media system and media filling, overseeing the section’s quality work within aseptic manufacturing and manage microbiological deviations.

Responsibilities include:

• Participate in, run and finalize microbiological non-conformity investigations as well as non-conformity investigations linked to the media system, follow-up of corrective and preventive measures, and feedback to affected personnel.
• Support for existing production regarding microbiological competence as an SME
• Participate in internal and external inspections.
• Release of media
• Environmental hygiene sampling and particle measurement
• Support, training and certification of production personnel
• Microbiological deviation investigations
• Quality assurance of aseptic work technique
• Daily planning and follow-up of the section's work and delivery
• Results on both a strategic and operational level.
• Section's budget and follow-up
• Leading, developing and supporting your employees
• Through a delegate from the department head, be responsible for the section's work environment.
• Being part of the Quality in Operations management team

Your Profile

To be successful in this position, you should bring several years of management experience in similar positions. You possess a quick learning ability and can make well-informed decisions even with limited information. You demonstrate a sense of responsibility, self-motivation, and a structured approach to your work.

In this role you will engage in cross-functional collaborations, which requires the ability to work effectively with diverse teams. We believe you have strong communication skills, as you will need to inspire and motivate others to work together and adhere to established standards.

We think you have a relevant University or College degree in science.

• Several years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry
• Experience from working in a GMP environment
• Leadership experience from leading a team
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Experience from working with aseptic manufacturing, aseptic investigations and deviation investigations
