Securities Operations Analyst

You will be responsible for supporting our Exchange Members in advanced Trading related questions. You will primarily work with the new Nasdaq Financial Framework, our state of the art trading and clearing platforms used to power markets in the Nordics as well as several other large markets around the world, such as Singapore Exchange and Hong Kong Exchange.
The Exchange Services team is the true heart of the Nordic equity and derivatives markets.

Your role and responsibilities
This position will give you the opportunity to work in the heart of the Nasdaq European Markets where you will work closely with the teams which operate Nasdaq’s Derivatives, Fixed Income and Commodities markets. You will be performing important tasks within the area of Trading Operations:
Execute trading transactions on behalf of members.
Support members in advanced trading related questions
Work actively to improve processes and services by identifying enhancements and suggest system changes within own and closely related areas.
Work proactively to increase customer satisfaction, develop and maintain relationships.
Acquire and maintain good understanding of the different systems used in-house
Perform qualitative system testing for new functionality
Work with Regulatory matters in relation to market wide regulatory frameworks



We expect you to have
Degree within Business/Finance or equivalent work experience
1-3 years of relevant work experience, from the financial sector
Ability to prioritize, organize and complete work tasks within given timelines
Solid English language skills



It would be great if you have
Good understanding of different types of securities and how they are traded
Interest in the financial markets, such as equities, derivatives, fixed income and commodities trading.
Have an agile mindset and enjoy working in the constantly changing financial environment
