Do you want to shape the direction of Ericsson security and privacy, and drive operational excellence, continuous development and improvement of privacy within security frameworks? Do you want to work together in an engaged team of strong security experts?

You will work closely together with teams across Ericsson, as a key part of Group Security Strategy & Frameworks team. Our team is shaping the future of Ericsson by setting strategic direction for key security frameworks (Information Security Management System, Security Risk Management, Cloud Security, M&A Security, Supplier risk management, etc).
We are looking for a strong leader who is passionate about privacy, and who has the ability to analyze, interpret and translate regulatory privacy requirements into Security strategy and key security frameworks. You will work closely with Group Data Protection Officer and security organizations across the organization.
Do you have what it takes?
You will
Executes on company’s privacy strategy, goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) in alignment with Ericsson Group Function Legal
Ensures appropriate interpretation of privacy requirements into security frameworks to achieve compliance with the relevant privacy laws, regulations and standards (e.g. ISO27001, NIST privacy, GDPR, CCPA etc)
Oversees the development and execution of privacy requirements into security strategy and key security frameworks
Supports the security organization with data protection expertise and suggesting best practices
Contributes to continuous improvement of Ericsson security controls to ensure appropriate level of data protection
Supports executing privacy impact assessments to identify privacy risks and mitigations for treatment plans
Performs data protection trainings to promote awareness and accountability of the privacy domain
Collaborates across Group Functions, Business Areas, Market Areas and the security community to ensure continuous improvement of Ericsson’s privacy approach.

To be successful in the role you must have
University degree or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience within privacy related standard and regulations
Strong experience within information security
Proven track record of successful deployment of privacy practices in a complex multinational environment
Experience within security or technical expertise and hands on experience related to the core privacy risk areas of the telco and IT industry will be considered as an asset
Certification by IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals) such as CIPM, CIPT, CIPP/E or equivalent highly desired
Security and Risk Management training or equivalent experience
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
Strong problem-solving skills, results-oriented and a strong team player
Experience in project or program management
Fluent in English (verbal and written)
