What you’ll do:
As Security Architect you are responsible for designing, building, testing, and implementing security systems at VCRS. You are expected to have a thorough understanding of complex IT systems and stay up to date with the latest security standards, systems, and authentication protocols, as well as best practice security products. You will also work together with our Infrastructure Architect, Solution Architects, and other teams to set/implement the security roadmap. In your role as IT Security Architect, we expect that you will be the driving force in changing VCRS’s mindset around IT-Security. You will drive the IT-Security area and oversee that the level of maturity around IT-Security and Data Privacy continually increases.
To do this we expect that you will engage in and drive areas such as:
• Work with overall IT-security strategy together with Volvo Cars, including setting and owning objectives, producing roadmaps, setting overall prioritization, and providing qualified input regarding technology-related investments
• Perform risk assessment – analyzing and mitigating prioritized risks.
• Perform/oversee security reviews for specific solutions and infrastructure
• Establishing processes/practices related to IT-Security.
• Track/Monitor security/privacy related trends for the organization to act upon
• Inspire and cultivate a culture of security awareness
Who you are:
We’re looking for you who have deep knowledge in technical as well as theoretical, in IT security, IT architecture, and practices within Security, for example, ISO-27001, OWASP10, SANS25, etc.; technical in security controls and technologies; OpenID Connect and OAuth 2; and infrastructure components such as networks, firewalls, DNS and storage. Furthermore, you have good experience in IT risks, cyber security, and computer operating software; asset identification/evaluation and risk assessment; access control: authentication/authorization solutions; implementing multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, identity management or related technologies; Microservices, Identity Server and Cloud Architecture (Microsoft Azure); and got that experience from IT Security area in large organizations.
We see that you have an advanced understanding of security protocols, cryptography, security, and agile software development processes and practices. Last but not least you are fluent in English and Swedish. We are looking for a person that enjoys solving problems, preferably together with others. You interact with various stakeholders within and outside the organization. Therefore, it is crucial that you have great communication skills. You are able to prioritize since we are working with many different tasks and products. You adapt quickly to new ways of working with a can-do, jump-right-in attitude and inspire your surroundings to follow.
