Our Exciting Opportunity
Security in the RAN (Radio Access Network) network is an increasingly importance to Ericsson, our customers and the society The RAN networks need to be protected from cyberattacks, unauthorized data access or manipulation. To do that Ericsson needs to be tech leader in the area. Implement security in our products need technical competence and solutions the security domain. The Software implemented by Traffic Control handles traffic protocols for L3 and L2 and is by that vulnerable for manipulation and intrusion into the data flow.
This position is intended to own the technical security work within the product area of Traffic Control Software. This security work spans from providing the organization with relevant information, support and latest industry standards within security to owning the appointed Security Masters and ensure they are capable to perform adequate security support to the organization.
This holder of this position owns the product security work within PDU TC SW (Product Development Unit, Traffic Control software). The work will be done in close cooperation with the product Security Champion, and other roles in the DNEW (Development Unit Network) security network.
You will
Own the technical analysis and implementation of security aspects in the products and production environment
Drive Product Security awareness in PDU Traffic Control
Cooperate with other technical leaders, line and projects in the area to implement the Company strategies for product security.
Be responsible to review and follow up on the Security Assurance, e.g. secure coding, risk assessment and vulnerability analysis, status within development team(s)
Lead development of Security design rules
Conduct Development of code analysis for finding vulnerabilities
Lead deployment of security tools and services
Work with security masters and plan security activities and competence development from product security perspective
Participate in audits and regulatory compliance activities



To be successful in the role you must have
A personality that is positive, productive and creative and with strong drive and passion
Excellent communication-and people skills
A team-spirit mentality to reach common goals together with your colleagues
MSc or BSc level in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Security or equivalent level of knowledge
A strong knowledge of information security, and especially Ericsson’s product security framework, Security Risk Management(SRM)
Excellent speaking and writing skills in English
Knowledge within the areas of Telecommunication and Agile ways of working
