Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Engineer to join our Application Security team. As the Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in securing our company's applications and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems. You will collaborate with development teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
Conduct security assessments and code reviews to identify vulnerabilities in applications.
Implement and maintain application security controls, including secure coding practices, static and dynamic analysis tools, and vulnerability management.
Collaborate with development teams to provide guidance and support in implementing secure coding practices and addressing security findings.
Perform threat modeling and risk assessments to identify potential security issues and recommend mitigations.
Stay up to date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
Develop and deliver security training and awareness programs for development teams.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of application security policies, standards, and procedures.


Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
Proven experience as an Security Engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of application security principles, secure coding practices, and common security vulnerabilities.
Experience with security assessment tools and techniques, such as static code analysis, dynamic application scanning, and penetration testing.
Familiarity with secure coding standards and frameworks (e.g., OWASP Top 10, CWE/SANS Top 25).
Professional knowledge in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
