Who you are

You have high motivation and drive finding problems in IT cyber security sphere - so that you can fix them, and you have done it for at least 5 years now in both Agile and DevOps working set-up. Proven studies in computer science or another engineering equivalent laid the foundation of your career and now you are looking for the next step in a business that will further your experience with ethical hacking and penetration testing and… a cool team besides you. In addition, you have a sound knowledge of:
current and emerging cyber security threats and their impacts in the digital landscape
information security best practice, standards, tools and methods, across policy, process and technology
the process of creating systems of prevention and recovery to deal with potential threats to Ingka Centres
how to model threats & risks as well as the controls necessary to mitigate them, on both an organizational and technical level



A day in your life with us
At Ingka Centres, the Security Engineer is responsible for ensuring required level of IT security for products, applications, platforms and infrastructure and are expected to drive a security and privacy-by-design approach, aiming to have security and privacy controls built-in rather than bolted-on to reduce risk exposure.


You will:
identify security design gaps in existing and proposed solutions and recommend changes or enhancements
provide information security expertise in the development of applications and systems, including knowledge on the current threat environment
through impact assessments, continuously identify and document security risks, associated with the existing and developed solutions, and develop mitigating measures where necessary
set up and ensure execution of a continuous information security monitoring plan, while coordinating technology specific remediation activities as part of continuous monitoring
support the organization with resolving cybersecurity incidents, requests and activities and perform defect and root cause analysis with the objective to continuously improve information security



In this role you will report to the Data Governance Manager, Ingka Centres and will be based in Malmö, Sweden.

The Security Engineer position sits within the Commercial & Digital Domain and its mission is to enable Meeting Places, acting as a commercial engine to drive visitation and brand awareness through partnership and co-creation of innovative commercial and customer solutions, concepts and insights, creating an outstanding 360* experience for customers and communities.


You will report to Daniel Demytrie, our Data Governance Manager.
