Job Summary:
During 2020 we have evaluated how security should be governed, issued a new strategy and prepared an even faster security maturity journey. Within IT Security we have redefined the operating model and are now revitalizing the Security Operation Center (SOC). As part of the revitalization a leadership change has been decided and we are therefore looking for a new Head of IT SOC.
The Head of SOC reports to the Head of IT Security and is part of the IT Security Leadership team. The SOC functions consists of 53 skilled specialists with employees in Sweden, India, UK and the US. You are expected to provide leadership and courage in stressful situations such as crisis and or difficult investigations, but also to provide leadership for how the SOC shall continue to be developed to meet the future demands of Ericsson. We aim to be leaders within security and the role as Head of IT SOC is a critical part of this ambition.
Responsibilities:
• Align to the Security Strategy
• Define strategy and roadmap for the SOC function containing for example site strategy, tool strategy and way of work strategy
• Develop and drive an efficient security operation organization
• Manage managers and suppliers
Key Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor degree in a related field is required.
• Min 7 years of experience
• Proven domain experience as well as Ericsson Security work
• Risk Management Skills
