Job Description
Vattenfall is looking for a Security Officer with focus on Operational Technology (OT) to join the Corporate Security & Resilience function. The location of this position is flexible in Vattenfall’s countries of operations – Sweden, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Germany, the UK (United Kingdom) and Poland.

The Corporate Security & Resilience function at Vattenfall is a modern, flexible, and agile unit that is operating in a challenging and rapidly changing environment. We strive to embed security & resilience into all our business operations and we apply a holistic and risk-based approach to constantly adopt and improve our security posture. The main tasks of the function is to provide leadership, governance and support throughout the Vattenfall Group to ensure mitigation of security related risks as well as regulatory compliance.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Drive and shape how we work with securing OT within Vattenfall
Lead and drive co-operation groups, plan, coordinate and participate in group-wide security initiatives
Build up awareness and competence throughout the Vattenfall group
Work closely with security experts in our diverse operations and provide support and guidance related to all areas of OT security.
The role will part of the OT Security Team led by Vattenfall Group Lead for OT Security. The Director of Information & Cyber Security / CISO will be personnel manager for the role.
Qualifications
We are looking for a security leader who engages with other key stakeholders to find the best solution to a challenge. As Vattenfall is an energy company, an understanding of operational technology (OT) security challenges is needed. Communication skills and drive are key success factors in this position. We see that our candidate most likely have the following qualifications:
Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent educational background
Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant positions
Experience of OT security management in multi-stakeholder environments
Fluency in our group language English, both spoken and written. Fluency in Swedish, German or Dutch is beneficial. Excellent and proven writing skills is a major plus.
