Sandvik is a high-technology engineering group with advanced products and world-leading positions within selected areas. Worldwide business activities are conducted through representation in more than 130 countries. Group Security is responsible for providing expert support to the business areas and Group functions. The main activities are; governance activities, security risk management and security operations, including incident management and functional day-to-day support.
As Security Operation Manager you will be part of the Group Security team. The location for this position is Stockholm and includes globally traveling.
Key performance areas
As Security Operations Manager you will strengthen Group Security?s ability to support Sandvik?s business and support the Group Security Manager in the establishment and implementation of the Security Manager System.
The Security Operations Manager's main responsibilities are to:
- Organize and provide functional day-to-day support and security awareness to business areas and Group functions.
- Establish, implement and manage security operations globally in Sandvik?s day-to-day business: examples include, but are not limited to, Executive Protection, Event Security and Project Security Management
- Establish, implement and manage, processes and plans for effectively detecting, reporting, responding to, investigating and managing security incidents in coordination with relevant stakeholders
- Provide functional day-to-day support to risk-owners within the Group, business areas and business units
- Manage global programs for group-wide security risks where appropriate
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in security and risk management in a government or private security context. We expect that you have experience of planning and conducting various security operations. Experience of working in an international environment is an advantage. The position also requires knowledge of processes and practices for risk management, including incident and crisis management.
You have an appropriate higher education, preferably in the field of law enforcement, military, security management or a comparable field. Certification or diploma in security and risk management is desirable. Good skills in English, both written and verbal, are a prerequisite for the position.
As a person you have the ability to plan, organize and prioritize your work in an efficient manner. It is important that you can take initiative, work independently and manage under stressful conditions.
Additionally, you must be able to interact well with both colleagues and stakeholders and to work across cultural boundaries.
