The Corporate Security & Resilience function strives to be a modern security function that is flexible, agile and has great knowledge of emerging threats. The group function provides regulatory and security requirements, support to the business and governance to Vattenfall Group in order to mitigate risks and to ensure regulatory compliance. We are now looking for a:
Security Program Officer for Personnel Security

As a Security Program Officer within CS&R you will be part of an international team, with colleagues in Sweden, Germany, The Netherlands and you report direct to the Director of Security Programs.
People are our most valuable asset within Vattenfall, and in this role you will be responsible for developing and supporting the implementation of security measures that will keep our people secure and prevent malicious attacks towards Vattenfall and its associated assets. Within the scope of personnel security lies also travel security. This enables Vattenfall to keep our employees safe and secure whilst conducting various business travels around the world with different risk levels.
The position is flexible in location but a preference is given to a Swedish location.
Main Responsibilities:
To lead and manage the main-security area of Personnel Security within Vattenfall Group in close collaboration with other security area-leads and with stakeholders within each Business Area and Staff function
To lead and manage the cross-functional security area of Travel Security within Vattenfall Group in close collaboration with other security area-leads and with stakeholders within each Business Area and Staff function
Develop Group steering and supporting documents, to ensure corporate governance in adherence to regulatory demands
Ensure that Vattenfall governance is related to strategic decisions. This includes development, implementation, management and program reviews of strategic security programs; Personnel Security and Travel Security
Set targets and measure implementation rate in the organisation including Business Areas and Staff Functions, to provide an updated situational picture
Set the strategic road-map for personnel security and travel security together with the respective area leads
Drive accountability through cooperation and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
Qualifications:
We are looking for an experienced security leader who engages with other stakeholders, to find the best solution to a challenge and to be part of ensuring the security within Vattenfall Group. Communication skills and a strategic mind are key success factors in this position.
Experience of being in a strategic security position within a private company (Corporate Security) and/or government security position
Good experience within the field of personnel security and travel risk management, preferably from the energy sector
Academic degree / University within an area relevant to security or equivalent
Fluency in written and spoken English
Experience with running projects and programs including change management
Meritorious
Good knowledge of industry standards or equivalent regarding personnel security and travel security
Previous experience of developing and maintaining the relevant security areas
Knowledge of the Swedish Protective Security Act or similar legislation
Relevant security certifications
Being the right candidate you are characterised as structured, process oriented, analytical and equipped with a sound judgment. You are trustworthy and easily connect to people. Your educational and communication skills are at a high level, as well as your integrity and your ability to keep focus on what is important for Vattenfall.
