About this opportunity


Security aspects within the mobile networks becomes more and more important. IoT, 5G, virtualization, all exciting and ambitious areas that highlight the importance of an end-to-end product security posture.
The security sector within Ericsson Networks (DNEW NSV Security) is the overall product security competence center, and we are looking for people to strengthen Ericsson’s ability for security solutions moving forward.


This position is a Security System Architect and the work includes activities to secure products and features done in a secured way, thru activities such as drive high level studies to define requirements moving forward or to take the requirements to more implementation proposals. The work also includes securing appropriate processes and development flow related to product security.
This will require ability to cooperate with different people and organizations, the ability to understand different areas and solutions quickly.
Example of area to work with: security aspects on 5G (embedded and cloud), IoT(Internet of Things), ORAN (Open Radio Access Network), new hardware development, early phase research and much more.
We are now specifically hiring to meet the increased demand when moving towards Cloud RAN(Radio Access Network), looking at the assurance aspects as well as study capabilities.




What you will do


Take responsibility within development and completion of adequate system studies, both Continuous Analysis (CA) and Technology Analysis (TA) as well as bringing technical issues and choices to conclusion in a timely manner.
Participate in and do among other things Security Risk Assessments, Privacy Impact Assessments, Statement of compliance for internal and external security requirements.
Take an Ericsson end-to-end responsibility for product security.



You will bring


Product development knowledge.
Security knowledge in TLS, certificate handling, Security Assurance (security in the processes, risk management, requirement handling).
An ability to work and lead others.
Adaptation and Networking-skills.
Creativeness and Innovation.
Knowledge and preferably work experience from at least one radio standard (GSM, WCDMA or LTE) or network technology (LAN, WAN, MPLS, IPSec) or O&M.
Great communication skills within English.
