ESS is now looking for a Security Technician/Administrator for the Facility Management Group organised within the Project Directorate. As a Security Technician/administrator you have focus on access (cards and keys) and security administration. You will also assist the FM Security Lead in supervising and planning the activities for the guards as well as following up on issues related to security. You may also need to work with smaller construction projects and you may assist the FM team in maintenance of the different installation systems, such as fire alarms, low voltage, heat and cooling etc. You must have the experience and competence to identify and solve problems independently and in coordination with the group. The tasks for this role may be adjusted as the project progresses.
Job description
Your main areas of responsibilities as a Security Technician/Administrator will be to:
• Ensure the right access (card and key) for individuals within the organization. This includes the addition and adjustment of accesses
• Work closely with other ESS divisions, such as the Office Support Division that manages the reception personel and ESH&Q that sets the security requirements
• Assist the FM Security Lead in supervising the Security contracts related to guards and report security incidents in a system and compilation there of.
• Participate in setting routines for security and update existing security documents used within the organization
• Visually illustrate area divisions. (AutoCAD)
• Supervise and participate in the procurement of smaller facility projects, such as replacing broken assets in the building or work lead other changes
Qualifications
We think that the successful candidate has:
• Experience from a security and guard company, or similar
• Previous experience from access card administration is an advantage
• Good knowledge in Microsoft office programs like Words, Excel etc
• Experience from computer aided facility management systems like Infor is an advantage
• Experience with working in multi disciplines, coordinating work across a broad spectrum of different installations
We truly believe that you have an excellent way of collaborating with people with different knowledge and background. You have a good understanding of how to coordinate work between different disciplines in a complex project, such as ESS. You are curious and interested to perform your own task, but also to collaborate and to help out the rest of the FM team in their different disciplines. When needed, you will be happy to assist in maintenance of the FM installation systems. You have a well-developed ability to listen, consult others and to communicate and document proactively. You also have a very high degree of security awareness and integrity.
Good oral and written English skills are necessary and a well-developed ability for both collaborative and independent work are expected. You have an eye for details and take great pride in maintaining a high level of quality in all the work you carry out.
Please note that on call/work outside normal working hours may be required.
The final candidate for this position will go through ESS security clearance procedure.
Duration & Location
The position is permanent with six months initial probationary period
Your work place will be situated in Lund, Sweden.

The position is to be filled as soon as possible.
