Channel Partners & End Customers team in EMEA is looking for the Segment Development Manager. Segment Development Manager will balance strategic and operational capabilities, setting the long-term strategy for EMEA while also supporting the regional sales organizations in our EMEA strategic priorities and business goals. The segment development manager will be responsible for targeting both our end customers and channel partners in the prioritized segment to support our segment's revenue targets.
Travel is required for this position primarily to the EMEA sales regions and HQ in Lund.
Who is your future team?
You would be working in the EMEA Partners & End Customers team, collaborating and connecting with the sales departments throughout EMEA. You will work closely with the KAM End Customer team and EMEA End Customer Program Manager. In addition, you will work closely with the global, EMEA head region and regional segment marketing teams to continue to drive Transportation brand visibility and activation with EMEA Channel partners.
What you'll do here as a Segment Development Manager:
Strategy - Create the EMEA Head Region Strategy for Transportation. Develop value propositions for the segment that support the strategy, drive head region marketing activities that support these ambitions and identify EMEA Transportation End customer accounts to target.
Education - Build Transportation segment expertise internally, drive Transportation segment brand visibility externally and support strategic regional activities
Solution Development - Develop commercial relationships with technology partners specifically relevant to the Transportation segment that support the EMEA strategy and promote solution adoption in the regional sales organizations.
Portfolio - Influence the portfolio and roadmap that aligns with the need of the Transportation segment.
Further responsibilities:
* Develop value propositions for the Transportation sub-segments in line with the agreed strategy
* Support EMEA KAM End customer community with Transportation account development to reach defined growth targets. Focus on maintaining and grow existing large accounts and identifying new prospect accounts.
* Setup up regular communication channels (Teams, Webinars, calls) to support the sales functions with best practice sharing, trend analysis and awareness of segment solutions
* Develop a presence as a thought leader in Transportation using Social Media channels and participating in EMEA industry events to create awareness and demand for the Axis brand
* Provide guidance to the sales regions on solutions to standardize and adopt in the AECs
* Identify gaps in the Axis portfolio that are required to meet our Transportation growth ambitions. Influence the portfolio development and roadmap in line with the EMEA Transportation end customer needs
* Commit to regular, proactive and transparent communication with Americas and APAC Head region transportation segment development managers
* Facilitate cross-functional alignment with EMEA End Customer and Channel Partner team (Distribution, Global Accounts, End Customer Program and other Industry Segments)
Who are we looking for:
You are an excellent communicator and have strong presentation skills and the ability to inspire and influence people with ideas. You will also be a Transportation segment evangelist and have a proven ability to network and build connections across diverse stakeholders and cultures, demonstrating the ability to lead without authority.

* Passionate about the Transportation segment and proficient in advocating technology solutions
* Strong team player with a creative mindset
* Strong understanding and commitment to a "channel" sales model
* Ability to prioritize well and manage time and activities in an organized and structured way (ensuring good account coverage and efficiency of your time/travel)
* Have good written and verbal communication in English; other languages are beneficial.
* Ability to convey complex technologies and specifications easily.
* Experience with Salesforce preferred
