Services, Digital and Investment Purchasing is a global organization within GTP representing a yearly purchased spend of 43 BSEK. The team is responsible for Investments, Digital & IT, Professional Service & Travel, Product & Operation Services.
We are now looking for a colleague in the Digital & IT IPS IT team, who would like to join our dynamic and goal-oriented team. Infrastructure & Equipment is part of the Digital & IT Purchasing team. The team consists of seven buyers, located both in Gothenburg and in Lyon, is highly professional and work autonomously within their different field of responsibilities.
The purchasing segments (categories) that are covered by this team are Data & Analytics solutions, Personal IT Equipment, Shared IT Equipment, End User Services - Software, Application Hosting Services, Network & Telecom Services, Telematics, IT Security Solutions.
In this position, you will be responsible for one or more purchasing categories/segments and report to the Manager Infrastructure & Equipment.

The role description
As a buyer within the Digital & IT Purchasing team, you will work closely with the newly transformed Digital & IT stakeholder community, you will be in the forefront of the journey aiming for high performance and finding opportunities through new technologies and digitalization.
You drive and manage performance of your portfolio; manage supplier relationships, lead strategic sourcing projects and drive cross functional collaboration.
In your segment leader role, you are leading the cross-functional team responsible for defining and implementing a segment business plan, i.e. category strategy. You also promote and ensure a strong collaboration between buyers working in your segment and strategic vendor managers by capitalizing on inputs towards segment strategies, negotiation tactics and leveraging other possible opportunities.


Main Responsibilities
Own, develop and implement Global Segment Business Plans (i.e. category strategy), including monitoring performance and value delivery
Drive the sustainability agenda in your segment
Lead strategic sourcing projects to completion in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Develop and manage overall supplier relationships, including implementing supplier governance and performance models
Drive the Segment administration/Supplier Base Management, categorization and classification
Perform contract negotiations and optimization from a QDCF-TSR (Quality, Delivery, Cost, Features, Technology, Sustainability and Risk) standpoint
Stay on top of technology market trends, commercial best practice and perform benchmarks when appropriate
Analyze complicated datasets to understand the current and future cost base and license position
Implement the new ways of working and tools that bring efficiency and performance to your domain

Who are you?
To succeed in this position we believe you are self-driven, experienced IT Purchasing or Sales professional who see challenges as opportunities. You like to network and to build strong relationships across functional and geographical areas. You are an excellent communicator and storyteller, presenting concepts and ideas in different formats, depending on the audience. You have courage to speak up your mind and drive towards our common objectives. In the position as Senior Buyer, your solid experience and ability to work cross functional and with diverse teams are key assets. Collaboration and creating team spirit are something you see as important actions to be able to work towards a common objective.

Competence & Experience
University degree in Engineering/Technology/ IT /or Business Administration
5+ years of experience as a senior buyer or sales executives
Experience in one or some of the segments in the scope is preferred
Understanding of public clouds, IaaS, and their relevant licensing models would be an advantage
Interested in future business trends and technology
Ability to go from the holistic strategic view and into the details and be able to deal with complexity
Ability to create networks and to lead cross-functional activities within multi-cultural teams
Excellent presentation skills
High level of integrity and trust
Fluent English and preferably in one more language except for Swedish/French
