Sandvik Construction based in Svedala is looking for a Segment Parts Manager.In this role you will be responsible for the sales support and marketing of spare parts globally for the range of products sold by the Construction segment.Operating as a part of the Aftermarket business activity within the segment you have the focus of ensuring customer satisfaction, developing the ServU spirit in the parts organization and ensuring SMC adherence to SMC standards.Key performance areas .Business responsibility for global Segment Parts business..Revenue and profitability development for the products..Global marketing and sales strategy for spare parts within the segment and as far as possible aligned with other segments..Implementation of the global spare parts strategy together with the segment marketing and aftermarket management function and regional aftermarket organizations..Controlling and approving Parts offering development of parts products and parts package offering..Market promotion for spare parts and upgrade packages within own Segment..Pricing strategy for spare parts in collaboration with the aftermarket council..Competence development of the spare parts organization..Management of the parts support organization..Segment TOD (Technical order desk) organisation..Business follow-up and reporting for spare parts together with the Segment business control function.The Segment Parts Manager reports to the Segment VP Aftermarket and liaises with Aftermarket and Marketing function within the segment, regional sales organizations, product management, offering management, aftermarket of other segments, SMC Supply and SMC Logistics. Your profile The qualified candidate needs to have a solid technical background, a relevant University degree and experience of different mining applications and mining equipment.You are customer service oriented and have a strong commercial awareness.In addition you have well developed communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate people in a global network.It is also important that you are familiar with the Sandvik environment. It is essential that you are fluent in English, both written and verbal. Annual sales 2007 amounted to about SEK 33,100 M, with approximately 15,200 employees.
