Semiconductor supply chain specialist at Scania

Semiconductor supply chain specialist at Scania

Arbetsbeskrivning

Scania is a world leading provider of transport solutions. Together with our suppliers and partners, we are driving the shift towards complete and sustainable transport systems. Working at Scania is also about having a healthy workplace with diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities for women and men.

The global semiconductor supply situation

The global semiconductor shortage has created a serious challenge for the global automotive industry. The overall pandemic with strong demand in consumer electronics, shifting business models in the semiconductor world, deviating product life cycles between the industries and other disturbances have thrown these two industries out of sync.

Looking into the future, the complexity and demand for semiconductors will continue to increase. New technologies like electrification and growth in automation, will not only challenge the semiconductor industry but are also key in Scania’s journey of becoming a sustainable transport solution provider.

To keep up with the increased demand and complexity of the semiconductor supply chain, we are looking for an expert in the semiconductor management to become part of our journey.
