Configura is a market leading tech company that works with parametric configuration, they develop rules-based software to draw spaces in 2D and 3D for leading companies within the commercial furniture, kitchen and material handling industries. In the background, prices and configurations are automatically calculated. With more than 200 professionals they are now ready to take on unique challenges anywhere in the world. As their growth speed is set to continue apace, they´re now on the hunt for a committed Senior Account Manager to strengthen their team based in Linköping.

In the role as Senior Account Manager, you play a very important part in Configura's continued growth journey. With primary responsibility for business development and customer care for the company's major and strategically important key customers you will work in a company culture that is committed, innovative and constantly moving forward. You have the commercial responsibility and get to strategically plan your own customer activities independently, of course with the support of helpful colleagues. In addition to this, you´re expected to:

·        Negotiate prices and contracts

·        Organize meetings with key decision makers at our partners

·        Follow and report on the profitability of the accounts you are responsible for

·        Contribute to developing processes and best practices in account management together with the global team

·        Ensure that Configura's partners have what they need to implement the solutions with great success and thereby build and maintain strong and long-term relationships

To succeed in this role, we think that you:

·        Have at least 5 years experience in B2B sales within IT with responsibility for major key customers

·        Possess basic knowledge of how to run a major IT project, experience in programming is a merit

·        Are a natural team player that show genuine commitment to the team goals and is always open to help other team members

·        Master both Swedish and English on a professional level. Other languages ​​(especially German) are eligible

·        Have a relevant academic education or equivalent professional experience, for example a Master of Science in Engineering or Master of Science in Business and Economics

You report directly to Head of Sales and work primarily from the head office in central Linköping and therefore you probably live nearby. The role is partly international and there are some trips where customer visits or other events require it - mainly within Scandinavia but also in Europe.
