Senior Accountant

As our accountant you’ll have an important role in our continued growth and success. Our finance team has been growing and we are now looking for an accountant to grow the team further. Today the team consists of our CFO and a financial assistant and you will find a supportive and #InItTogether atmosphere together with them.
In this role you will:
Responsibility for ongoing accounting and accounts receivable and payments
Posting of payments and bank account reconciliation
Inventory reports and fixed assets
Perform monthly closing activities according
Reconciliation of balance sheet
Perform group reporting according to IFRS
Participate in interim reports and the annual closing and the audit process for the group entities
Monthly reporting to authorities (e.g. VAT, tax and Intrastat)

Your background and characteristics:
For this position, we are searching for a person who has 6 – 8 years of accounting experience, preferably in a fast paced environment. You have a deep understanding of accounting and have been working independently with annual reports. Furthermore you have genuine interest in process improvement and have experience leading projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting of Finance related field or equivalent.
Minimum 6 years’ hands on experience within general accounting
High degree of attention to detail
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
To succeed in this position, you have advanced MS Office skills, accounting software and databases as well as advanced excel skills. You are also able to manage large amounts of data.

Merits:
Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations from other Nordic and European countries is a plus
Knowledge of consolidating reporting

As an individual you have the ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions and have strong communication skills. We also think that you are an analytical, unpretentious and independent person. You are fluent in both Swedish and English. Speaking other languages or international experience is meritorious.
