Right now, we have an exciting job opening for you in Finance as Senior Accountant for Care by Volvo. As we are, with great speed, heading into a digitalized world which enables many new revenue streams, you will be a great support in this area of transformation – Volvo Cars’ Global Online Experience! 

The team is responsible for the accounting and reporting for the entities with subscription business and direct sales within the Volvo Car Group. We offer a challenging role with the opportunity to play an important part and contribute to our biggest transformation yet – becoming a fully electric brand with direct and online sales. You have the opportunity to be part of a team and co-operate with highly experienced colleagues in other business units and functions globally, with the purpose to create value, and provide accounting expertise and guidance to make change happen. 

What you will do:
Located in Gothenburg, you will be working to support the new Volvo Cars business concept GOX – Global Online Experience - with daily accounting and reporting services together with a team of colleagues. The work includes preparing, evaluating and reporting monthly financial figures for the GOX business. You will also be involved in analysis, projects and process improvements for financial processes with focus on accounting, working closely with finance and business operations.

What you will bring:
We believe that you have a university degree in Business Administration, Finance, or other equivalent areas, with a few years of relevant work experience. You should have a solid understanding of finance processes, and knowledge in accounting and financial reporting, which you can practically implement with efficiency and quality.  You should have gained some experience in financial analysis, and have a solid understanding of IFRS.

As a person you are committed to high standards in your work  and enjoy collaborating. Responsibility inspires you and you seek to support change management in your area. You are comfortable with questioning existing processes and mind-sets, and always have process improvement in mind. Even though you are detail oriented, you can also zoom out and grasp the bigger picture. ,

Lastly you should be fluent in written and spoken English.
