About Us: 
At the Accounting function within Finance, you are a part of a global team, with the purpose to ensure correct financial reporting and accounting based on our business events. You co-operate with colleagues in other business units and functions globally, with the purpose to drive value creation, provide accounting expertise and guidance and make change happen.  Are you interested in joining us?  We are now looking for a Senior Accountant.

What you'll do:
Located in Gothenburg, you will be part of the Operations Accounting Team of 16 people and will drive the development and the maintenance activities within the IT/Corporate functions area. The Operations Accounting team is mainly dedicated to the daily accounting and book closing activities. This work will provide a great opportunity for the right person to gain knowledge about Volvo Cars finance processes and tools, and build a broad network in the organization. 

Our new team member will be responsible for the accounting, closing, analysis and reporting of actuals. You will also drive the improvements of processes within your area of responsibility, issue instructions and guidelines, and make sure they are effectively implemented. You will have the opportunity to participate in operational development and improvement projects.

You and your skills:
We believe you have a University degree in Finance or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experience from finance or related business. If you have experience working in SAP R/3 and Hyperion FM it’s an advantage. Good communication and cooperation skills as well as being fluent in English both verbally and written is required.

You can work independently towards fulfilling targets and realize agreed business benefits.
