Would you like to be a part of creating future processes of Accounting and Reporting? We are now looking for a senior accountant who will join our team and take on the role of functional lead. The team is responsible for accounting, group reporting and regulatory reporting for the company.

About this opportunity
Welcome to the Accounting and Reporting Team in Nordea Finance Sweden. We add value by delivering financial data within Nordea Group, as well as to authorities. Timely deliveries with excellent quality is ensured with a close cooperation within Nordea Finance and Group Finance. As the Senior Accountant in Nordea Finance Sweden, you’ll play a valuable role in ensuring and improving good financial processes.
What you’ll be doing:
* Assume the role of functional lead of the Accounting & Reporting team
* Lead the group in different day to day decisions
* Drive and take lead in projects and initiatives when needed
* Liaise with external auditors and other external stakeholders
* Perform daily and monthly accounting tasks, including tax
* Perform and/or oversee monthly regulatory reporting – both internal and external
* Manage the process for interim and annual report production
* Investigate, analyse and correct errors and develop reporting and reporting deliveries
* Update oneself regarding relevant legislation and financial, and accounting principles
* Take part of creating the future process of the work in the team

Your experience and background:
* Relevant business or economic degree
* Broad work experience in accounting and reporting, including tax related matters
* Fluency in Swedish and English (written and spoken)
* Excellent Excel skills. MS Power BI or similar knowledge is an asset
* Preferably background in leading others
