What you’ll do
You will be part of the Financial Accounting team, working primarily with dedicated accounting activities for the legal entities Volvo Car Corporation and its parent company Volvo Car AB. You will be responsible for specific month-end closing activities and/or a sub-process.
You will have close interactions with our Global Accounting Centre located in Madrid that is responsible for the rule-based accounting as well as Group Accounting and Group Tax. The position also includes activities such as monthly analyses, ad hoc accounting questions, accounting projects, statistical reporting, annual reports, and coordination with our external auditors.
Do you fit the profile?
To be successful in this role you should have a strong interest in accounting, curiosity for digitalization and the will to improve processes and solve ad hoc accounting questions in parallel when developing yourself. Your analytic capabilities and computer skills are strong, and you possess abilities to grasp the big picture.
If you have experience working in SAP R/3, Hyperion FM or OneStream it’s an advantage. In addition to the above you have a university degree in Business Administration, 4-5 years of relevant working experience and you are fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and written.
Personal qualities as high integrity and ability to uphold standards of professionalism and confidentiality are valued. Flexibility and handle short notice situations. Since you will be member of a team and a key contact person, work well with others will be a key factor.
