Senior Adviser Export & Trade Finance
Export & Trade Finance is a department within Group Treasury. We manage trade, export and project finance solutions and act as support and adviser to the Scania Group. Today the department consists of 2 persons covering the globe, except Latin America.
We are looking to strengthening the team with a senior adviser that can take up the role of supporting the Scania organisation globally.
Job description
Key responsibilities and activities will be:
.Support the market organisation in finding the best finance solution for the specific transaction/project
.Administration of payment instruments, EKN and internal reporting ( i.e. Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Bills of Exchange etc )
.Provide payment terms and advice on risk mitigation
.Arrange third party finance
.Political and commercial risk assessment
Job requirements
We are looking for a person with extensive experience in the field of trade, export and project finance. You also need to have a deep understanding of financial-/payment instruments.
You should be self motivated and find it easy to work cross functional. You will be involved both in specific projects and day to day tasks, therefore it is important to be flexible and find it easy to shift focus. A large part of the daily communication will be in English, therefore you need to be fluent in written and spoken English, oher languages are an advantage.
You will need to travel a couple of times per year. Much of your daily contact will be cross functional with both Scania and non Scania counterparties. Social skills and multi cultural understanding is important to better interact in the different work constellations. You need to have the ability to support sales and at the same time act as a control function.
