For this role we are looking for someone with a genuine passion for engineering the best vehicles in the world. You will be working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company, leading the way in the hypercar business. You’ll work alongside accomplished, world-renowned engineers on perhaps the most exciting automotive programs in existence today.

As a senior aerodynamic surface design engineer you will work collaboratively alongside other skilled designers and aerodynamics engineers to generate new surface concepts. You will also be involved in utilizing parametric modelling techniques to enable rapid aerodynamic concept development and to generate stable surface models to the very highest standard. As a valued member of our CFD department, your ideas and skills will make a tangible contribution to the team.

Responsibilities:

- Creating CAD surfaces for new aerodynamic concepts, working closely with our aerodynamics engineers, designers and stylists
- Preparing full vehicle geometries for CFD simulations
- Maintaining and updating our CFD surface models to the latest developments
- Integrating and managing the CFD surface deliverables with other stake holders

Participating in iterative design process, taking feedback and refining the designs to achieve the optimal performance

Developing our capability, methodology and processes, e.g the next generation of CAD tools

Guiding and equipping the team through mentoring and training to foster the continuous skill development



- Demonstrated proficiency in automotive surface design, backed by an impressive portfolio showcasing your work, Motor sport experience is advantageous

Working experience in a fast-paced, engineering environment

Skilled in using a high-end CAD package for surfacing. We use Catia 3DX, but candidates with experience of surfacing in other packages are also welcome

Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing

Experience with PLM System

Understanding of prototyping, production technologies and validation procedures

Sound comprehension of aerodynamic principles and simulation tools

A creative and thoughtful approach to solving engineering challenges

Strong ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
