Sustainability is one of the three pillars of our company purpose, freedom to move in a personal, sustainable and safe way, and is now as important to us as safety has been since the birth of our company. Sustainability is also a demand from our key markets, they are implementing legislation, taxation and incentives in order to ensure that the automotive industry delivers improved energy consumption and electric range. Therefore, the business impact of the attribute area Vehicle Energy Efficiency increase strongly.
At Vehicle Energy Efficiency we are responsible for strategies, requirements, competence- and process development to meet future electric range and CO2 challenges. We are about 45 engaged engineers within the attribute, working cross R&D - from energy need to energy sources.
Our offer
We have taken on the challenge to transform from focus on CO2 emissions to get the best Energy Efficiency in our vehicles, do you want to contribute? Then the role as Senior Analysis Engineer in our agile Verification team is the place for you to prosper. Together you will ensure that our vehicles are legal and competitive regarding energy efficiency.
Your role
You will be responsible for the strategic plan for overall road load activities. You are taking lead for development of the teams Roadmap and contribution in VEE’s strategical work. This includes development of methods and tools, derive insights from our datasets and verify our products to make quick adjustments to become leading in Energy Efficiency. You will support the team with deep analysis, represent the team in different fora’s and also educate stakeholders.
In this role you will have a close collaboration with the Regulatory and Homologation department and work with implementation of new legislations for different markets. You will also collaborate with authority agents, regulatory and certification engineers as well as workshop and rig staff, you will really get the chance to meet and integrate with people on different levels.
Competence is important
We believe you have a M.Sc or B.Sc in engineering subjects, such as mechanical or electrical engineering and we think that you will need experience within analytical and statistical problems. To thrive in this position You enjoy working with cars and computers and you have a genuine interest in the physics and mechanics of a car. On top of this You understand how cars are structured; you have a good understanding of vehicle systems and attributes, such as powertrain, transmission and aerodynamics. Furthermore, you possess a Driver’s license B.
