We are looking for a senior analysis engineer who wants to join The Fuel and Combustion team in developing wold-class propulsion solutions for the future.
The team is responsible for defining the combustion system of new engine generations and variants. This includes piston top geometry, intake port design, fuel spray targeting/characteristics and injection system performance.
We are also involved when it comes to valve timing, compression ratio, injection strategies in early phase and ignition system.
What you will do
During the development of a new combustion system, the team performs extensive investigations through simulation and testing. Your role will focus on experimental testing of prototype parts and solutions.
This includes:
- Test planning including test object preparations
- Evaluation and presentation of test results.
- Development of test environment, test method and measurement quality.
- Mentorship of analysis engineers.
- In addition to the analytical and methodical aspects, a hands-on approach is an important portion of this position. Part of your time will be spent operating various test cells in this development process.
About you

We require you have at least a M.Sc. degree in Mechanical or other relevant engineering area. We assume you have good knowledge of the thermodynamic processes and combustion mechanisms of internal combustion engines and strong ability to understand the correlation of the subsystems.
It is highly meritorious if you have experience within engine testing or similar components and good knowledge in engine control systems and software to be able to perform relevant calibration.
You are fluent in English and it is a plus if you possess a valid driver’s license.
