Spotify Internal Audit & Risk (IAR) is looking for a Senior Analyst with a technical or engineering background to join Internal Audit to help support and implement our Internal Audit strategy! We are looking for an individual with experience working with agile, fast-paced organisations who enjoys working in an impactful and highly-collaborative international team environment. This individual will primarily support the company’s annual SOX compliance program, and will also participate in assurance and advisory projects within technology & product areas such as information security, machine learning and big data, tech infrastructure management and operations, and application & product development.
The ideal candidate will have worked in professional services or internal audit and has deep knowledge of audit techniques. In addition, the candidate has considerable experience in testing IT General Controls (ITGCs) in the context of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) program, microservices architecture, and continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices. Finally, the candidate has strongly developed project management skills and demonstrates meticulous care with regards to work and documentation quality.
What you’ll do
Lead and participate in the testing of technology components of our Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal controls framework, including planning, execution of walkthroughs and testing, reporting, escalation, and continuous improvement (e.g. control rationalisation, testing approach, automation).
Coordinate with co-sourced providers, external auditors, internal leaders, and process owners to ensure engagement and timely execution of the SOX testing program for the processes you own.
Participate in complex assurance and advisory audit projects including risk assessment, execution, and post-remediation validation for audits that cover both business and technology risks, including privacy and security focused-audits.
Partner with other Internal Audit team members to coordinate cross-vertical audit projects and initiatives in alignment with IAR’s strategy.
Support business and technology projects by advising on risk and compliance matters.
Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders as they address control deficiencies or make significant process changes (e.g. implementation of new systems).
Who you are
You have a bachelor’s degree with a major in computer science, engineering, MIS or equivalent education focused on information systems. Other degrees in combination with self-taught engineering knowledge are also welcome.
You have 5+ years of relevant professional services or internal audit experience in IT audit.
You have a solid grasp of SOX internal controls framework and you have audited IT General Controls (ITGCs).
You have experience with micro services architecture, continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices, code version control platforms (e.g. GitHub) and cloud technology, especially Google Cloud Platform.
You have or are pursuing a CISA, CGEIT, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, CIA, or other relevant certifications.
You have domain expertise in the technology / music / audio industry.
You have excellent leadership and relationship building skills.
You are an excellent communicator and storyteller, presenting concepts and ideas to partners at all levels, in different shapes depending on the context.
You have expertise and/or interest in emerging technologies, such as machine learning, GenAI, process mining, robotic process automation, etc.
You have demonstrated experience in project management practices, tooling, and managing multiple projects and tasks.
You are able to work with minimal supervision and in multi-functional teams in a fast-paced environment across multiple projects.
Where You’ll Be
You will be in Stockholm, Sweden
For this role there will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come into the Stockholm office 2-3 times per week
