Senior Analyst, Finance Business PartnerOverview
The Mastercard Europe Finance team is currently hiring a strong candidate to support the Nordics & Baltics division at Mastercard. The Senior Analyst plays a key role in assessing the financial impact of strategic and market development activities for the division and act as important financial advisor and business partner. The role will report to the Nordics & Baltics Director, Finance Business Partner and will be in charge of planning, reporting and other finance tasks for the division. The senior analyst should have a Finance background, with experience from Planning and Accounting role as well as strong analytics skills. The position is based in Sweden.
Role
• Responsible for a broad range of finance related responsibilities and acts as a finance generalist for the Division
• Activities include deal management, short/long-term planning and contract management; managing risks and opportunities, monitoring the Division's revenue and expenses while considering macro-economic factors
• Supports aspects of financial and budgeting related needs and requirements for the Division; communicates areas of concern or risks; makes recommendations on resolutions; conducts financial analysis for the Division’s leadership
• Assists with new opportunity assessments by providing analysis to the business for ongoing deals and Customer Business Agreements [CBA]
• Executes agreements, leveraging knowledge of financial & data technology tools
• Prepares and updates designated financial reports
All About You
The ideal candidate for this position should:
• Demonstrate the ability to build internal and external business partnerships; begin to develop key relationships to understand the needs and objectives of stakeholders
• Have experience in reviewing and analyzing financial reporting and analysis of results (e.g.. monthly financial results, quarterly forecasting, annual budgets)
• Be experienced with financial systems and applications (e.g.. Hyperion, Oracle); have excellent knowledge of Excel; have good verbal and writing skills
• Have experience in resolving basic issues in a timely and efficient manner; begin to gain exposure to the resolution of complex issues
• Be able to establish priorities and to work independently
• Be a team player, analytical, results driven, flexible and adaptable
• Be structured and well organized, able to work efficiently under pressure and with tight deadlinesCOVID-19 Considerations
