We are currently hiring a strong candidate to join the Marketing Team supporting the Nordics & Baltics cluster at Mastercard. The Senior Marketing Analyst plays a key role in managing the Marketing Team's as well as the overall Nordic and Baltic Team's agenda related to investments across the markets. He or she will have the overall responsibility for all finance tasks throughout the year and should be skilled in accounting, excel, and overall financial analytics, and at times support the marketing team with various tasks needed.
Role
Administration of all marketing and business-related investments (e.g. purchase order management, monthly accruals review, forecasting, finance tool ownership and reporting)
Internal support and management & compliance in usage of funds appropriately
External reporting to customers & auditing
Contract administration and compliance
Agency and scope of work management, reporting and reconciliations
Internal yearly, program and channel reporting on results and effectiveness
Managing and administering the business budget allocation process
Further developing the marketing planning budget process to ensure timely, consistent, and integrated delivery of marketing plans
Supporting the Marketing team on the overall budgeting and planning process
Partnering with finance to help develop the PO system requirements, ERP system requirements, the marketing accrual process and reporting needs
Providing data driven recommendations for process improvements, system enhancements and marketing budget allocation
Aligning strategic and operational Marketing objectives to planning process and system
Contributing to the change management and transformation plans aligned to markets plans and strategy
Your experience
Bachelor's degree, preferably in economics, or other related fields
Proven ability to learn business systems, including reporting tools (e.g. Oracle, Hyperion, ARIBA)
Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
Excellent verbal and writing English skills required, Swedish language proficiency desired
Similar work experience is desired
Good financial acumen and experienced in working with complex budget allocations, cost forecasting, accruals, and actuals reconciliation
Experience of project management in a global environment with multiple teams
Highly Analytical and able to provide recommendations to the business
Excellent attention to detail with strong ability to meet deadlines and effectively priorities competing tasks
A passion for good customer service will be a vital success factor
Self-Starter and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
About you
Team oriented with the ability to communicate effectively and develop solid working relationships across multiple levels – including senior level – both internally and with external parties
Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency and accuracy and to manage multiple activities in a short timeframe
With an eye for details there is an interest in numbers, and a natural ability to act as a financial advisor and business partner to the Head of Marketing
