Ericsson Consumer and Industry Lab delivers world-class research and insights for innovation and sustainable business development. We explore the future of consumers, industries and society in regards to connectivity by using scientific methods to provide outstanding insights on markets, industries and consumer trends.

The role will be based in Kista, Sweden reporting to the Research Leader Consumer Lab.
You will
Partner with internal stakeholders and business units to scope and define consumer research projects that deliver actionable findings to drive thought leadership and address business needs
Translate consumer research and insights to drive discussion with various Research Areas within Ericsson Research to drive technology foresight to identify the emerging technologies which might produce the greatest economic and social benefits.
Communicates consumer insights and their implications and advises stakeholders, senior management and customers on how to best use research findings
Identify and contribute to new and relevant consumer research questions, to drive strategic issues and thought leadership about evolving consumer ICT use.
Partner with academia and external start-ups to combine insights and knowledge on consumer needs with technical solutions to create new design ideas, protypes and demonstrations
Act as a spokesperson for Ericsson ConsumerLab studies and insights, providing Ericsson with a “voice of the consumer”, e.g. at external events, press briefings and customer meetings.
Work with analytical methods to investigate consumer survey data.
Create useful insight and foresight using various data sources
To be successful in the role you must have
Relevant experience of at least 6-7 years in market research.
Experience with a variety of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
Working with consumer related area or a work as a consumer insight manager/analyst, management consultant, a business or market intelligence analyst
Experience in leading the design and execution of consumer insight projects either as an internal corporate researcher or working at a market research supplier.
Experience with business & market intelligence function with knowledge of the ICT industry, its players and business models is an advantage
Background from having worked in international organizations and with multi-disciplinary teams is an advantage
Advanced skills in PowerPoint and graphical visualization of statistical results
Ability to translate complicated analysis to compelling communicative messages
Outstanding interpersonal, communication skills and ability to build networks
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Interest in consumers, trends and ICT insight creation using data from different sources
Additional Requirements:
Experience from using dashboards technologies, such as Tableau, QlikView and data studio is an advantage
