Senior Analytical Chemist

The Gel Analytical Development team, a part of Product Development in Uppsala, is responsible for research, development and scale up of medical devices within Aesthetics. To this positive and engaged group of 12 people we are now looking for a Senior Analytical Chemist with experience from mass spectrometry.

Job responsibilities / Ditt uppdrag

About the role
As a Senior Analytical Chemist, you will have a key role within the group. You will plan and coordinate analytical tasks and you will evaluate and discuss the results. Work is performed according to regulatory requirements (ISO 13485 and GMP) and is often conducted in project form. You will work to solve advanced analytical tasks and develop new analytical methods. You will perform analysis of products, API's, intermediates and raw materials using different analytical techniques.

Minimum requirements/ Är du den vi söker?

About you
We believe that you have a doctoral degree in organic or analytical chemistry and additional experience from working in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.

We think that you have the following skills and competences:

* Proficiency within mass spectrometry. Preferably coupled to ICP or GC.
* Excellent skills in both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
* Experience from performing extractables and leachables studies.
* Experience from method development and validation.
* Familiarity with interpreting pharmacopeial- and ISO-standards.

As a person you are innovative, ambitious and goal-oriented. Working in projects you will ensure that you and the group can deliver towards set timelines and goals. You will need to have good communicative skills and experience of working in project form.
