The Innovation & Development (I&D) Center Sweden within the Pharmaceuticals & Devices Division is a part of the global development organization of Fresenius Kabi and is responsible for the development of parenteral nutrition products such as amino acid solutions, lipid emulsions, and micro-nutrients products. The Center is located in Uppsala and consists of approximately 30 employees working mainly within Analytical Development and Formulation Development of parenteral nutrition products.

We are now looking for you as an experienced expert at the analytical development laboratory who works independently and is able to coordinate cross-functional projects and investigations  in accordance with good manufacturing practice (GMP) including data integrity requirements within Innovation & Development.

 

Fresenius Kabi in Sweden Fresenius  Kabi  Sweden with facilities in Uppsala and Brunna produce Parenteral Nutrition, IV Drugs, Additives and Raw Materials both for our own product portfolio and external customers.

We have around 1100 employees. The majority is working in the production site in Uppsala (producing parenteral nutrition which is administered intravenously, for example Intralipid,Kabiven and Structokabiven, as well as supplements such as Vitalipid. We also produce anaesthesia such as Diprivan and Propofol.), that was established in 1999, while the API production Sales- (around 200 persons) is located in Brunna, Stockholm.

 

Your assignments As an expert you assist in development projects, mainly in terms of analytical chemistry and statistics / DoE, and actively collaborate with other parts of the business to develop new products
You carry out training for employees within the department's area of ​​activity
You create relevant documentation and you prepare answers of questions from authorities
You participate in inspections as a subject matter expert (SME) and you are the contact partner in regulatory issues
You assist the department in writing quality management and reporting documentation, such as analysis methods, excel spreadsheets and technical reports, both internal and external
You work in accordance with regulatory quality, GMP and GxP / ISO 9001 requirements and the company's quality standards
You assist other units within Fresenius Kabi with support in analytical chemical issues where applicable as well as actively contribute to continuous improvement of the business
 

Your profile You have an academic degree in analytical chemistry, analytical pharmaceutical chemistry or similar education
You gained at least 5 years of experience in working with analytical techniques and validation methods either within the pharmaceutical industry or in a similar industry
You have actively participated in regulatory inspections
You have statistical knowledge preferably in terms of multivariate data management/DoE, good knowledge of GMP/ISO standards and relevant regulatory frameworks, including data integrity for software
You have knowledge in writing various types of quality documents/CMC documentation
You have experience in conducting deviation investigations and change requests within GMP operations
You have already worked with product types like glucose, fatty acids/emulsion and amino acids
You have good knowledge in speaking English and Swedish
You are an enterprising, analytical team player who can work both independently and in teams
You are flexible, driven and proactive and you have a good ability to take responsibility for tasks and deliver on time and with the right quality
